Setup Steps for the Arlo Wi-Fi Security Camera

To set up the Arlo Wire-Free Camera:

  • Open the Arlo Secure application.
  • Tap Add New Device at the bottom of the screen after dropping to it.
  • Tap Cameras on the Select your Arlo device screen.
  • Tap Others on the Select your Arlo model screen.
  • Tap Arlo on the Legacy screen.
  • Choose an Arlo Base Station or SmartHub.
  • Put the camera's batteries in:
Slide the latch while holding it in place to unlock the battery compartment.

How to set up the Arlo Wire-Free Camera


  • Insert the batteries as shown and close the battery door.
